Georgia Mallett is a visual journalist from Ellensburg, Washington. She is a graduate from the Photojournalism program at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She is currently based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mallett is interested in visually reporting all forms of journalism, including news, in-depth stories, features, and documentary work. Her photojournalistic skills have brought her into the world of music photography. As a person who can’t go anywhere without music playing, her passion for music coincided with her love for photography and has become her visual passion. She hopes to communicate the sound of music through silent photos and capture the stories of those who sing the songs through video.

She has been recognized by Hearst Journalism Awards and has shown films at Portland Panorama and Tampa Bay Transgender Film Festival.
